Spellbound

If you are in anyway in love with words and their formation, you probably saw the documentary movie “Spellbound” in theaters during the summer of 2003. You couldn’t help notice the constant drilling the students did in preparation for the annual spelling bee held in Washington D.C. Some used the board game Scrabble® as an aid in learning. Perseverance and patient drilling is the only way to learn words. After all, you’ll not have the convenience of spell check during the event. Word-sportTM can be an invaluable tool in preparation for an event such as the spelling bee. One can learn how to recognize the presence of words in randomly mixed tiles. Word formation can be from simple to complex. The constraints of time using the tournament timer will add the sense of urgency to the process. You can play it with others or play it alone. So even if you don’t have aspirations to go to Washington, it’s still nice to be able to form words quickly and correctly. Do it with Word-sportTM. |
