This page is dedicated to those who are most serious about their word play. I really got an eye opener with our Word-sport™ demonstration during the University of Michigan’s U-Con Gaming Convention held in November, 2003. There was a significant difference in the speed and caliber of word play at the convention compared to the high school level at the St. Mary’s Play test...like going to the NBA. Perhaps God sent in some word merchants to give me encouragement about the potential of the game. At this level of play, more formal rules, such as those used in Scrabble® should be applicable. For example, all words, including those of foreign origin, as well as obsolete, colloquial, or slang words will be permitted. Words which are not permitted include those that are always capitalized, abbreviations, prefixes and suffixes used alone, and those requiring a hyphen or an apostrophe. Your opinion is important to us, you can also give us your comments on the same page. Click here to read about a Vermont company that turned an exercise machine into an indoor competitive sport.
